Speech-Language Evaluations
Our in-depth evaluations give you a thorough understanding of your child's areas of strength and areas for growth. We specialize in oral and written language and speech sound disorders.
Prior to the Evaluation
Once we receive your initial contact, you'll receive a link to your client portal for intake paperwork. This ensures the evaluation runs smoothly and addresses all of your concerns.
The Evaluation
A full speech-language evaluation takes 2–5 hours. A speech sound production evaluation takes about 1 hour. Breaks are provided, and the evaluation can be split across multiple days.
The evaluation consists of:
- Standardized and non-standardized assessment
- Clinical observation
- Caregiver report and interview
After the Evaluation
You'll receive a PDF of the detailed report 1–2 weeks after the evaluation. The report includes the official treatment recommendation. After you've had a chance to independently review it, we'll schedule a complimentary meeting to discuss the results in detail and answer any questions.
Re-Evaluations
For children in ongoing therapy, re-evaluations are available by clinical need or request. Children grow and learn new skills over time, and re-evaluations help us adjust goals and track progress.
Payment
- Evaluation of Speech Fluency: $200
- Evaluation of Speech Production: $200
- Comprehensive Evaluation of Speech and Spoken & Written Language: $350
We accept HSA, FSA, credit card, cash, and check. We provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
